Meet Holly! 

My Story & Philosophy

Hey! My name is Holly Smith, I am a certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) and have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (B.Kin). I currently work as a strength and conditioning coach out of a private gym in London, Ontario. My passion is helping people optimize their health and optimize the way they move.

My passion for health/fitness started young - I grew up playing competitive sports and always loved training and working towards a goal. At this time I also started to develop a passion for science and was fascinated by how the human body functions and moves. I quickly knew I wanted to pursue a career within the health/fitness field but, for me, I knew pursing an education meant giving up my 6-day/week sports to focus on getting my degree. I quickly realized that without sports I felt lost and had no passion for training anymore. Throughout my years at school I learned everything about human movement, nutrition, neuroscience, and all things health. With this knowledge I realized that if you can optimize your health and optimize the way you move - you can not only feel better but be unstoppable in the gym. I then rediscovered my love for training by combining my experience as an athlete and my new found knowledge of how the body functions. I finally found a method that allowed me to feel completely energized and constantly get better in the gym. My education and experience taught me if we can optimize our health, and we can master how we move, we can feel better, look better, move better, and we can fall in LOVE with the process. At this time I also discovered the importance of proper nutrition. Food quality became so important to me and I noticed a huge difference in how I felt. Nutrition and my health became top priority - this was a game changer not only for how I felt but my progressions within my training.
